The LaFuGa Summit gives the gastronomic perspective on finding solutions. 
Liking and deliciousness are drivers of eating behaviour.
Therefore, La Fuga unites chefs, farmers, producers, teachers and researchers in taste and gastronomy from around the world.

This summit provides a unique opportunity to come together, in the breathtaking landscapes of the Italian alps,
to discuss systemic solutions for the wellbeing of the people and the planet.

We live beyond the caring capacity of our world.
We have to go back to more cyclical systems, systems that work within the cycles of the natural world.
The gastronomic perspective is often overlooked in the public and academic debate.
 We welcome everybody who can strengthen our mission.
 Original and innovative ideas are needed.

Day 1

The summit starts with a “social” dinner:

This is the best way to get acquainted with the entire community, take your time to discover the spa, jump in the swimming pool and discover the beautiful location of Bad Schörgau.

Day 2

An intense day sharing knowledge: Starting with The Harmony principals, diving into regenerative agriculture and sustainable breeding using gastronomy as a bridge to the consumer. We’ll talk about taste and how our brain perceive it, about liking, garum and natural wine. And, of course, the dinner will be prepared from the expert hands of the chefs, food scientist and R&D departments member of the community.

Day 3

Uphold the tradition of old and participate in our Rübenkrautfest of new.  Help us to harvest and process the Rüben while enjoying good food and natural wine with even a DJ on site, or on the field rather.

Cooking classes with Europe’s fermentation experts and chefs. You’ll have the chance to ask questions about food, technics, taste and grow among the best.  

And what about finishing the summit with a party??
